Creating art, in any form, helps me translate my thoughts and feelings into something tangible.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create isn't anything I've publicized. This can range from tiny origami cranes to DIY rooms made from bits of wood and cloth. Moments were I meditate rather than create, all while still being artistic.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from everything around me, turning my memories and memorabilia into something you can look back on. I've never been the best at keeping a constant written record of my life (I have many unfinished journals as proof), so visual snippets become a concrete diary.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to support my back to school journey. I'm currently in-line to start at Arizona State University, where my major would be Art History. Despite my passions for more modern mediums, I'd like to uncover the ancient history of expression.
