My favorite type of art to create is sculpture, especially using plasma-cut metal and found materials. I’m drawn to working with fire—it embodies passion, transformation, and creation. I love crafting pieces that are fun, whimsical, and full of color, because I believe art should spark joy and bring light into the world while inspiring others to see beauty in unexpected forms.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration in nature, which I see as the most brilliant artist of all. I’m drawn to the rich colors, intricate textures, and flowing forms it naturally creates. The organic shapes of trees, flowers, and rocks speak to me—they feel alive, balanced, and endlessly creative, guiding my work and reminding me to embrace authenticity and natural beauty in everything I make.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would expand my practice by exploring new mediums like foundry work, glassmaking, and blacksmithing. I’d invest in classes and workshops to build these skills, allowing me to push my art to the next level. Challenging myself with unfamiliar techniques would open new creative possibilities and deepen my understanding of form, material, and process.
