I love painting landscapes! It’s the best feeling when the scene begins to take shape and become what I intend for it to be. I sort of lose myself in them!
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration in nature. There is so much beauty in the natural world around us. It calms my heart and soothes me when I’m feeling troubled or hurt. I like to share it with others.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use some of the money to make my studio more artist- friendly with a more spacious area to paint and spaces to store supplies and display my paintings. I think I would also like to be able to share my work more readily and market myself better. One way is to rent a space in a large studio and have an ongoing presence there with changing artwork displayed. I’ve always wanted to be able to do this! There is always the expense of keeping art supplies on hand for using when inspiration hits.
