My favorite art highlights, amplifies and/or transmutes the environment. Our forest gallery showcases mixed & multi-media creations involving nature, recycled materials, paint, chandelier crystals, and wire. Photography has been a longtime passion, but nonsensical pursuits such as gnomes with dossiers, and chicken vlogging give me joy. During significant moon cycles, art is channeled through culinary creations that can involve pounds of premium chocolate in varying degrees of darkness up to 90%
Where do you find inspiration?Breakthrough beauty in ordinary moments inspires me the most. With my synesthesia, the taste of colors, music and textures collide with opportunity and synchronicity to create notable moments. In these spaces, there’s a compelling sense of what must be done. Often, I understand the piece differently when I get to the other side of its process of becoming. Imperfection and the noticeable flaws get me jazzed. In a society focused on perfection, I embrace and celebrate the human nature of my art.
What would you do with $25,000?What $25,000 will do for me? First, fiscally speaking this will put me in the black, and I can refresh my art and chocolate supplies. Secondly, I’ll take my wife on a honeymoon. We had talked about going to Lucern, Switzerland to see the sunflowers in October. Thirdly, I will buy a full share of the Lindor stock, so I can attend their annual meeting and receive my very own 9lb briefcase of chocolate. It’s a meeting I was born to attend someday.
