I have a brain people often wrongfully assumed was under the influence of psychedelics. I paint how I see the world, naturally eccentric.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Digital prints, acrylic paintings, pen illustrations, wood sculptures made with scrap wood and metal from metal detecting in my city. Salvaging frames for paintings from thrift stores to give my pieces more uniqueness. Wood carving and wood burning.
Where do you find inspiration?I’ve never had a normal brain in any sense of the word, I grew up with undiagnosed ADHD and art was an incredible outlet for me to express what was going on in my head. Since I was very young I’ve been drawing third eyes, creatures, fantastical elements and always including lots of color and abstract elements. I don’t have a specific process, I rarely use references, and I love letting my mind go where it wants and following it with a pen.
What would you do with $25,000?I would save to buy my first home and work a little bit less to spend time creating my art, I would also apply to art school. $25,000 would change my life completely and set me up in a way I couldn’t comprehend doing right now at my age. I would also like to help my family with some debt to repay them for the childhood I had.
