My favorite art to create is shared experience. I bring together people of all ages to connect, share meals, and make art. I provide materials and structure, but the work emerges through conversation, collaboration, and presence. My art lives in these moments of connection, where individuals become part of a collective creative process.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in people—their conversations, stories, and the energy that emerges when they come together. I’m drawn to how creativity shifts in group settings, where connection changes the way people see themselves and each other. These shared moments of making and talking shape everything I create.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use $25,000 to build a ceramics studio for the Art on Canal community, expanding access to new mediums and creative opportunities.
