I love to create OUTSIDE OF ME what I find hidden INSIDE OF ME. I created the type of art that I call "EBULLIENTISM!" Not a STYLE, but a NATURE OF BEING. VIBRANCY. ENERGETIC. EMOTIONAL INTENSITY. THE FEELING OF BEING ALIVE captured on canvas. EXUBERANCE. I want the viewer to FEEL MY LIFE. To feel THEIR life. To LOVE. To HEAL. To find PEACE. To find JOY...and sometimes to simply cry for RELEASE. I want to connect your heart to mine.
Where do you find inspiration?EVERYWHERE. Memories of my childhood. Grasping moments of a memory. Revealing PLACES. I study SENSUALITY as WE are SENSUAL beings. I paint faces and the feeling evoked from people that I love. I paint to SHOCK...REBEL. I paint for EMOTIONAL FREEDOM. I paint to CLEANSE MY SOUL. I paint to SHARE what it is to be me. I paint for LOVE. I paint to express LOSS. I love NATURE...the play of light upon a forest floor. The soothing MURMER of a small brook. Inspiration is everywhere I look.
What would you do with $25,000?Both my wife and I are handicapped. We have many needs and little way to meet them. I paint in a little building that has a deck floor rotting away and the risk of injury to me is very high. My wife has terrible Macular Degeneration and can barely see to move around the house. I would buy her some electronic reading glasses to try to improve her vision. And, I would paint all the more with vibrant new colors. There is so much we need. That money would not be wasted.
