I’m drawn to the unfiltered depth of things rather than traditional beauty. My favorite art to create is horror inspired realism work that’s high contrast, moody, and a little bizarre. I love the challenge of taking a dark, badass concept and making it feel alive. For me, it’s about finding elegance in the ugly and capturing that raw, honest energy that most people are too afraid to look at.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration in the places people usually overlook, but I also love pulling from the nostalgic energy of old school cartoons. There is something fascinating about taking those familiar, childhood images and giving them a dark, badass twist.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use this money to pursue my dream of being an artist. This world can be brutal to creators, and it often feels like it's designed to kill that spark but I’m planning to do more than just create, I’m planning to survive.
