Gracie De Romana

I love to create art because I feel our role as artists is to bring the colour and creativity to the world, and I love contributing to that.

What is your favorite type of art to create?

My favourite art to create is realism because I feel accomplished when I can replicate a scene that I’ve seen in real life, which consists of mainly people and animals. I also like surrealism and incorporating strange themes in a realistic setting.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find my inspiration from my everyday life. Whether I’m reminiscing on my childhood and idea of toys or old movies pops up, if I’m walking outside and I see beautiful flowers or if I take a jaw dropping picture of something.

What would you do with $25,000?

I am 20 years old and I have an almost 2 year old son, $25k would be extremely beneficial towards our future. I am a student at OCAD university, the money we are working for could solely be used to pay off my education and $25k would be put towards mine and my partners housing funds to own a home so our son has a permanent place to call home.
