I’ve been interested in art all my life. Drawing and being creative have always been a passion of mine. Even taking it to a whole new level.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I see art everywhere I look. Art has always been a passion of mine ever since I was in kindergarten. I’ve drawn practically all my life. When I look at pictures I see my creativity come alive with how I can pickup a pencil and and see the lines all through what I see that jump out of the picture and that’s where it begins. I love to draw cartoons. Shoot photos of things that inspire me. I love photographing things that are very old and broken down. Especially photos of people and monuments.
Where do you find inspiration?I find it in everything I see. Driving down the road on a recent road trip there were so many places I could have pulled over and broke out my camera and started shooting pictures. Cool broken down houses that looked so old and you just have to wonder about who lives there and how do they make it through each and every day? We live in a world of wonder and that is truly where I find my inspiration in art as well as life? When you’ve been through everything I am humbled and grateful to be alive.
What would you do with $25,000?I would book the trip to Lourdes, Fatima, Barcelona and other religious sites across Europe. I’ve always wanted to see all of these sites and places. The photo opportunities would be amazing and I’m sure a once in a lifetime experience? I love visiting old churches and grave sites of famous people. After you have lived your whole life on the edge I am so grateful to still be alive. I would love to become that force to be reckoned with and become the artist I was always meant to be and share it.
