"The energy that flows through my spirit during the creative process is one of abstract design and of beauty"
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
"I experiment by collecting and incorporating a variety of materials from the earth. Sometimes I use tar, sand from the beach, I have even used clay on canvas. I sometimes will mask off my paintings and add colored string or colored tree limbs. In other words, I hunt for interesting materials to collage that are not used in conventional paintings. I use primitive symbols to create a cave-drawing-like effect. Simply to inspire and become one with the canvas"
Where do you find inspiration?"When an inspiration comes, I quickly pick up my brush and begin. I can feel myself drawn into the canvas, sometimes I can't paint fast enough. The energy that flows through my spirit during the creative process is one of beauty and design. Like a performer on the stage the act of creation puts me in another dimension. I create a story, the energy that comes through my body creates movement in each abstract expressionism that gives the viewer a chance to participate in my work".
What would you do with $25,000?As an altruistic artist, I would like to use the money to empower others in life.
