I love to take photographs because it creates a timeline of my life experiences for me to share.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Primarily I like to capture photos of the Aurora Borealis moving in the night time northern skies, but I also like to photograph rugged or barren landscapes in the Arctic regions of our planet. I draw a bit, sing in a band and write my own music.
Where do you find inspiration? With photography, I find inspiration in natural environments - usually in remote Arctic locations. I have a deep love and respect for Arctic environments because they are generally places that are not crowded with people, vehicles, noise and chaos that is a constant in big cities. I ultimately find inspiration from isolation in nature. My favorite location on earth is the Svalbard archipelago.
What would you do with $25,000?I would pay off some debt my photography has gotten me into and I would also print several of my favorite photographs and curate a permanent exhibit at a business or open a small gallery of my own.
