I'm mostly a mixed media artist. I try to use old house paints and other found objects in my work. I've recently started working with stained glass as well and am working on incorporating it into my style. I'm constantly trying to add new techniques and am always experimenting. I love creating something people have never seen. I'm honored to have your time and I intend to make it worthwhile!
Where do you find inspiration?I find a lot of inspiration in the movement of air and the colors in nature. Our expensive universe and our luck in being sentient beings in it. I find a lot of inspiration in in my LGBTQ brothers and sisters that came before me . Their struggles are relevant now, I've been honored to try and tell those stories. But mostly I just try to capture my moments of awe, the moment's good or bad that stop me. I love to form that connection with you, for us us to experience the awe together.
What would you do with $25,000?My studio now is pretty sad, I make it work and I'm fortunate to have it. But I would try to build some more space where I can produce larger pieces. Now I'm only able to do one or two projects at a time. Hopefully I could also give back in some way. I aspire to be the kind of artist that brings as many people up with me as possible. if I was fortunate enough to make a career with it.
