Art helped me push through a very rough time in my life. It allows me to turn my difficult experiences into something meaningful.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I enjoy working with a lot of different mediums, but my favorite to create with is ink and painting. I also like more untraditional forms like nail art and crochet, since they turn everyday things into creative expression.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in my surroundings and experiences, especially nature and my childhood. The places I’ve been and memories I’ve made often influence the themes and emotions in my art. I also draw from my mental health, using art as a way to process and express feelings that can be hard to put into words.
What would you do with $25,000?If I had $25,000, I would prioritize my goal of becoming an art teacher by using it to support my education and training in art education. I want to build the skills needed to inspire and teach younger generations, helping them explore their creativity and find confidence through art. I would also invest some of it into developing my longtime passion for nail art, continuing to grow that hobby alongside my career path.
