I'm really into stylized depictions of animalism. I really enjoy portraying animals with strong features and characteristics. While I'm back and forth on painting animals their original God given colors/pigment. I typcially leave it to my day of process. Alot of my feelings go into each work.I usually choose a bold color opposite the color wheel to set in the background to really amplify the animal that is being painted.
Where do you find inspiration?I'm old school. I love flipping through National Geographics. Living in the hill country definitely has inspired a few of my paintings as well. Also my imagination. I usually comes up with a color scheme and think of animals that would look good representing those colors
What would you do with $25,000?I would continue completing my current series and fund a solo art show with prints and merch. Anything left over would go towards a truck to carry my canvases.
