I perform what gives me the most power. I free style mix any genre with soul shaking bass drops. I aim to prioritize woman’s voice in the underground rave scene. When I hear a new song I usually have a vision of me performing it onstage. Sometimes I resonate on a personal level to the lyrics, but more often I’m searching for the lowest frequencies that are felt more vibrationally than they are heard.
Where do you find inspiration?Honestly, I trust the process. I try to prioritize the enjoyment of every step and let the music create itself. All planning or navigation comes from my subconscious and it’s not until the project is completed that I reflect in hindsight and can decipher what my soul was trying to scream out into the world. I’ve been attending EDM events frivolously for a decade. I trust myself to simply be a vessel that attracts what’s next.
What would you do with $25,000?At the beginning of my music career two years ago I applied to LA Musician’s Institute. I had two days before the deadline to submit two original pieces. With the help of a couple friends, I not only made the deadline, but was accepted AND booked in LA. Financial insecurity, fear, and a hard earned survival mentality prevented me from trusting my own abundance to take the leap of faith. I have no remorse though, I truly made a difference in the STL underground. However, I think I’m finally ready
