In pyrography I find inspiration in old vehicles and nature. I enjoy burning when I want to create something that allows me encompass time and patience while projecting feelings that are deep and bold. I typically focus on human anatomy or animal portraits when working with acrylic or water colour mediums. Bringing my inspiration to the canvas in a way that projects vibrancy and colour.
Where do you find inspiration?From all the of emotion ones body is feeling because the world won’t slow down, to the pure happiness you feel because your dog is smiling back at you. There is something unique and beautiful to be captured. Art is my way of retaining memories I never want to let go of, or creating a memory I hope to one day hold.
What would you do with $25,000?I would donate a portion of the winnings to Epilepsy Canada. Epilepsy Canada supports researching epilepsy treatments and cures as well as spreading awareness. I would use the rest of the winnings to travel to areas of the world I have not yet seen to broaden my perspectives and make memories that will continue to inspire me.
