Art is my way of expressing myself, getting feelings, thoughts, and ideas into a physical form. My art makes me feel whole and connected.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I create sculptures from clay, tinfoil, wire, and paint. Everything I do is made with my own two hands, a lot of time, effort, and patience goes into my craft. The subjects of my sculptures tend to be animals, but they can be anything really. I’m a big horror fan so I love when spooky season comes around!
Where do you find inspiration?I try to put a spin on everyday life, make objects, people, animals more peculiar. Inspiration can come from anything and anyone, sometimes it may just be a random shape in the clay. Each piece has a story or a certain set of emotions and feelings behind their creation.
What would you do with $25,000?I would really like to give back to my parents, they’ve been my biggest support system my whole life. I’d also like to use it to create larger and more intricate sculptures, reach out to more people, always continue to create and improve.
