What is your favorite type of art to create?

Honestly, it is hard to pick which medium is my favorite to work with because some days I feel more drawn to paint, write or draw. If I have to choose though, I would have to say that I love creating both acrylic paintings as well as oil paintings equally. When I start a new piece, I turn up my headphones listening to music or a podcast and get lost in the process.

Where do you find inspiration?

The whole point of my artwork is to add healing elements in everything that I do to leave a sense of hope and inspiration that God is always with us in the good and bad times. I also draw inspiration from my own personal testimony, testimonies from others, nature, and day to day life experiences. It is about taking everything in and being thankful for the small minute details we tend to overlook and take for granted.

What would you do with $25,000?

I want to use my art to inspire others to see their self-worth, grow their faith in Christ or plant the seed of faith if they do not. I also want to use my art to bring a sense of healing to others. In the future, I hope to have a bigger art studio space so that I can create more artwork and instruct my paint parties for customers so they can have a safe haven to create and relax. This prize would also allow me to upgrade my supplies in my current art studio as well.
