I L O V E anything that makes me want to cry. Or anything that makes me feel at peace. I'm a watercolor artist at heart, but I find the most satisfaction when I incorporate related materials into my work. I've painted with my own tears before.
Where do you find inspiration?Look around you. There are billions of precious people on this planet. What else is there to say?? I take a step outside-- I'm inspired. I walk into my bedroom-- I'm inspired. A kiss from a loved one. A breeze, a flower. . . I know it sounds super cliche, but the world is really just a magical place. I want to create art that makes me FEEL the way the world makes me feel.
What would you do with $25,000?My beautiful childhood home will be sold in the coming years. I'm trying desperately to save the place where I made my first friends, made my first pieces of art, and took my first steps. As a young artist, it sounds impossible. . . But who knows??? Maybe the mountain view that has become so precious to me won't only have to live on in my memory.
