I make art to heal, play, and transform- turning emotion into poetry, and remaking my own world through alchemy and imagination.

My favorite type of art to create is art that sparks wonder, joy, and awe. I love to create art that enlivens the spirit and wakes up the imagination to other worlds. Most of the time this involves making large scale work that dwarfs the viewer but also invites them in to another world.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in nature, myth, plant medicine, and play. I’m most alive outdoors—watching animals interact, light move through trees, and insects dance in the air. I’m equally drawn to Renaissance painting, cathedrals, and Paleolithic cave art- places where the sacred dances that hum with the human and the divine.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the funds to create a large body of work that re-enchants our relationship to the natural world- drawing from myth, symbolism, and lived experience to evoke beauty, wonder, and a sense of the sacred in a time that feels increasingly disconnected.
