While I have always loved getting my hands dirty creating with practical materials, my desire to keep layering can lead me head long into a muddy mess that I don’t encounter with digital media.
Where do you find inspiration?I am most inspired by the people around me and those whom provoked deep emotions within me. Often times when I a struggling with emotions concerning another person, I will drawn portrait after portrait of them. I felt compelled to drawn hands by witnessing how expressive those around me are with their hands. My neurodivergence makes it difficult for me to understand social interactions. I have found paying attention to someone’s hands helps me better understand the meaning behind their words.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in a space I can create my art in, places to store physical and virtual art and the means to allow me to travel while I create and sell and create some more. It is important that I have appropriate space to keep completed art before I sell it and also that I am able to properly finish and preserve my art for those who enjoy it to be able to keep it in a cherished manner
