I like all forms of art. Love working with wood because it just smells so darn good. Currently I’m into 3 dimensional art, and architectural. Recently I’ve been working on what I’m calling Shadow Boxes, or 3D Wall Art . I’ll tinker with Air Dry Clay as well.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in many different forms. Sometimes it’s a house I see that I find interesting and challenging, sometimes a photo of someone’s home or pictures of a historic landmark or even a dream of some whimsical place that catches my attention. Sometimes it’s something I’ll see at an Art Show by another artist that spark an idea of something I want to try in my own art.
What would you do with $25,000?If I I’m blessed enough to actually win this contest with so many awesome artists. I would use my winnings as seed money to start a some type of nonprofits artist co-operative here in Pittsburgh. Since I’ve started this adventure just 3 years ago, I’ve quickly realized, how difficult it really is for artists to actually make a living doing what they love and showcasing their work. Thanks so much for this amazing opportunity and best of luck to all the extraordinary talented artists I’ve seen .
