I create art to better understand myself, my faith and nature. I strive to connect with others and create works that people can feel
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I like to explore many different mediums as they best fit into my emotion or experience I wish to express to the world. With some of them ranging in oil, mixed media, poetry, acrylic paints, drawing, wood burning, ink and so much more!
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the everyday around me, the steps my feet take and places my hands touch— along with the world that is vast in my mind. I strive to create with my whole heart and person. I want to be able to open the eye of others to my world and show them a place they may have never been or seen before. Most of all my faith keeps me going though, reminding me that my gift is ment to share and express the love I have been shown through Jesus!
What would you do with $25,000?I would use this money to pay for the final year of my BFA at ECUAD in BC Canada as an international student. I would then be able to start my career as an artist a little lighter as I will have less on my student loans. This would allow me to continue to pay it forward to the community as I create and build a foundation to help others through creative writing and painting/photography!
