My favorite art to create is fiber art and sculptures. I create sculptures from many different materials. While these are my favorite I am a multi media artist. I like to create art that sparks a meaning and feeling in everyone. I want people to feel seen in what I make for the good or the bad.

I find inspiration in my past experiences, the emotions tied to them, and the lessons they leave behind. The materials I work with also guide me, each texture and form suggesting its own direction. My environment plays a role too, from everyday moments to the energy of the spaces around me. All of these elements come together, shaping what I create and giving each piece a sense of meaning and connection.

With $25,000, I would invest in myself and my art as a young artist trying to find my place. It would help me build a foundation to grow, from buying materials to having a stable place to live and create. I’d use it to travel, visit museums, and experience other artists’ work firsthand. More than anything, it would give me the space and opportunity to fully commit to my practice and take my next steps forward.
