I create to give form to what can’t be held—to translate energy, tension, and movement into something deeply felt.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!

Receive Text UpdatesI create large-scale abstractions that move between painting, printmaking, and photographic capture. The work begins in the body—gesture, pressure, instinct—then shifts through light and lens into something less fixed, more alive. I’m drawn to the moment where control dissolves and the image begins to carry its own presence—where it feels unstable, dimensional, and fully felt rather than simply seen.
Where do you find inspiration? In the threshold between intensity and stillness. My background in alpine skiing taught me how to enter a state where instinct leads and time shifts—that same state drives the work. I’m drawn to wind, landscape, and the unseen forces that shape them, but also to quiet internal shifts. The work begins when something moves through me rather than from me.
What would you do with $25,000?I would expand the work into a more immersive scale—creating larger pieces that can hold and transmit energy more powerfully within a space. It would allow me to deepen the physical presence of the work and place it in environments where it can be fully experienced—connecting it with collectors, institutions, and audiences ready to engage with it on that level.
