I love creating art because it turns unpredictability into beauty—and every piece feels like discovering something new.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’m most drawn to abstract fluid art and mixed media pieces that embrace movement, layering, and organic unpredictability. I love creating work where color and motion interact in unexpected ways, allowing each piece to evolve naturally while still guiding it toward a sense of balance and harmony.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in unexpected places—background colors at a conference, patterns in clothing, or the way colors naturally interact. I’m also inspired by other artists and by revisiting pieces I started years ago, including work from high school, and seeing them with a fresh perspective.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in growing both my creative process and my visibility as an artist. This would include expanding my studio space and storage to support larger and more complex pieces, upgrading materials to continue refining my techniques, and entering more juried exhibitions to gain broader exposure. I would also invest in professional photography and presentation to ensure my work is seen at its best, along with building a stronger online presence to connect with a wider audience.
