I am summoned to paint and draw as they provide a duality between affective expression and a sense of control. Although at times I'm found creating sculptures or three dimensional work on canvas using found objects and recycled material. This process allows me to emphasize eco-friendly means of creation and accessible art making, use what you have. As an artist and art therapist I'm compelled to use mixed media to fully surrender to my inner worlds, and imaginations without limitation.
Where do you find inspiration?Drawing inspiration from profound moments of intense pure emotion, retrospection, and the realms of macabre and surrealist art. Frequent incorporations of circus imagery, folklore, mysticism, and natural elements often emerge as organic motifs
