What is your favorite type of art to create?

I am summoned to paint and draw as they provide a duality between affective expression and a sense of control. Although at times I'm found creating sculptures or three dimensional work on canvas using found objects and recycled material. This process allows me to emphasize eco-friendly means of creation and accessible art making, use what you have. As an artist and art therapist I'm compelled to use mixed media to fully surrender to my inner worlds, and imaginations without limitation.

Where do you find inspiration?

Drawing inspiration from profound moments of intense pure emotion, retrospection, and the realms of macabre and surrealist art. Frequent incorporations of circus imagery, folklore, mysticism, and natural elements often emerge as organic motifs

What would you do with $25,000?

I would appreciate support not only for my personal creative endeavors, which foster intuitive expression, but also for investments in materials and supplies for my art therapy practice, particularly for the benefit of individuals who are medically fragile and those receiving palliative care.
