I love creating art because it’s therapeutic, giving me the freedom to truly express myself & create what I feel & the things that move me.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I truly love all forms of art, from sculpture and design to clay, acrylic, charcoal, and now starting to learn to work with soft pastels. I push myself to explore every medium and keep learning. While I’ve grown the most with acrylic, it continues to inspire me. I love how each brushstroke moves, how colors blend, and how I can transform a few simple tones into something meaningful and expressive.
Where do you find inspiration?I find deep inspiration in my culture as a Bolivian woman. I’ve grown more connected to my roots and the beauty within them from the dances and music in my culture. Femininity is especially important to me, shaped by the strong women in my family who raised me. Their strength inspires my work and identity. I want to continue finding my rhythm and creating art that reflects who I am, while sharing my culture and passion with the world.
What would you do with $25,000?If I were awarded $25,000, I would use it to support my education as a full-time student who also works full-time without financial aid. This opportunity would ease the financial pressure I face daily and allow me to focus more on my academic and creative growth. I would invest in my tuition, art supplies, and professional tools to strengthen my skills across different mediums. Most importantly, I would continue building my portfolio and creating work that inspires and motivates others.
