It is hard to say, I use toys and assemblage when I want to talk about childhood forming us, Oil paint when I want the history of portraits, it adds solidity. All these bronze sculptures came from one mold; they share a lineage, and there is permanence in that and in bronze. And drawings on velum add layers. The act of passing light through an image is a spiritual one. What becomes apparent in this action and what remains hidden is, for me, a psychological investigation into individuality.
Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere. Art helps with understanding, bringing the unseen to light. In the end, I have an undying belief that art can change the world
