What I love most about creating art is the feeling of bringing something to life from a blank page. It gives me completeness & peace of mind

My favorite type of art to create is hyperrealistic portrait art. I enjoy capturing human expressions, emotions, and fine details like skin texture, hair, reflections, and lighting. What I like most is the challenge of making a drawing look as realistic and alive as possible while still keeping emotion in it. I’m especially drawn to expressive portraits because they tell a story through a single face or moment, and I enjoy the patience and focus that goes into creating that level of detail.
Where do you find inspiration?I mostly find inspiration from human emotions, expressions, and everyday moments. A lot of my ideas come from photographs, dramatic lighting, and faces that tell a story without words. I’m especially inspired by details like reflections, water, shadows, textures, and expressions because they make a portrait feel alive. I also get inspired by other hyperrealistic artists and creative concepts that challenge me technically. Sometimes I choose references simply because they’ll push my limits.
What would you do with $25,000?If I had $25,000, I would use a major part of it to pay off my education loan. The pressure of clearing that loan has slowly pulled me away from my art and made it hard to fully focus or put my best effort into creating. Financial freedom would allow me to reconnect with my passion, invest in better materials, build my portfolio, and spend more time growing as an artist without constant stress holding me back.
