It has always been a fulfilling action. I make art to live out that desire to create. I make art to make sense of the spirit and the world.

I like exploring representational imagery. I enjoy playing with different designs, forms and subjects. My first love is the category of drawing. For many years I worked with ink and pen. Now I have refined my style to a combination of color pencil, ink, and technical pen. My primary media for the past few years is acrylic paint.
Where do you find inspiration?I love learning new things and experiencing life up close. Two-thirds of the subject matter comes from topics of personal study: my faith, mythology, history, philosophy, and spiritual symbolism. The remaining portion of my inspiration comes from my lived experience, mostly the little things.
What would you do with $25,000?I would first set aside money for my close friends who helped me in a difficult time. Then I would get flowers and dinner for my wife. Next I would set aside money as a nest egg. The remaining amount of money I would invest in an art exhibition: self produced or partnered with a gallery.
