I love art because it’s the only place where chaos makes sense. When everything feels loud or out of control, my hands know what to do.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art is hands-on, dimensional work—especially creating 3D pieces with resin and paint. I love building layers, watching something flat turn into depth you can actually feel. There’s something powerful about shaping a piece that catches light, shifts from every angle, and feels alive instead of static. It’s not just about how it looks, but how it exists in space. That process of turning liquid and color into something solid and meaningful—that’s what pulls me in every time.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration in the raw, everyday moments most people overlook—textures, light, movement, and emotion. It comes from chaos, from things being broken or imperfect, and the challenge of turning that into something meaningful. My own experiences, struggles, and thoughts shape what I create, even when I don’t realize it at first. I’m drawn to contrast—smooth and rough, light and dark, controlled and unpredictable. Inspiration isn’t something I chase; it just happens
What would you do with $25,000?Im currently homeless so with $25,000, I’d secure stable housing and build a real foundation for my life again. It would give me the chance to focus on creating consistently, invest in better materials, and turn my art into a reliable income—so I’m not just surviving, but actually moving forward
