Oil painting is my favorite medium because it allows me to blend the sky and sea seamlessly, while also adding rich texture to the final piece. I’m especially drawn to painting nature, as I’m constantly in awe of God’s handiwork. I’m also a full time traditionally published author with 14 novels written under the names: Holly Danvers, Holly Quinn, and Sherry Lynn
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in spending time in nature—whether it’s a walk in the woods, along a coastline, or imagining a mountain I hope to see one day with my own eyes.
What would you do with $25,000?I would visit Montana to see a mountain for the first time, take plenty of photos, and return home to paint it. I would donate ten percent to a charity that supports the arts. And I would set up a local studio where I could teach others how to lose themselves in oil painting!! Maybe I’d even gain the confidence to finally start a YouTube channel.
