Art lets me express my inner self while challenging and refining my own voice; in a way, it’s also my purpose in life

I enjoy creating contemporary fiber and mixed-media art that combines fabric, texture, layering, and sculptural form. My work often incorporates handmade surfaces, textile collage, and dimensional construction inspired by both traditional craft and modern visual design.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration through materials, textures, traditional textiles, everyday life, and the creative process itself. I’m especially inspired by color, layering, handmade craftsmanship, and the way different materials interact visually and physically.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the funding to expand my studio practice, develop larger-scale work, improve professional presentation and documentation of my art, and create new opportunities for exhibitions, workshops, and public engagement. It would also allow me to dedicate more time to creating ambitious new work and growing sustainable creative projects.
