Making Art is my meditation. There is something coming through me. Ideas have a mind of their own to become physical poetry for me & others.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I utilize any kind of art genre that fulfills my visions, ideas and process. Multimedia art best represents my creativity with so many different materials emoting spirit, color, texture, emotion, ect. I utilize mixed techniques to fulfill that "adventure in process" towards the final works. I feel the physical process is the most invigorating, enriching state of being an artist. It's like cooking a meal, when you have the right mix of ingredients blended together with balanced flavor. Sculpture.
Where do you find inspiration?Human life on Planet Earth is a total adventure! From bliss to utter suffering, it's a metaphorical roller-coaster. All the unknown, unseen metaphysical factors we ponder about; Who are we?, How did we get here?, and perhaps What is our individual purpose? intrigues me. Also sleeping with 'child-like mind' getting out of physical self & going into the dream realm is where night sleep visions (or visitations) give me many ideas. Time is not linear living within the aspects of The Human Condition.
What would you do with $25,000?I would stop scrambling for carpentry work and finish off the 3 art shows that I am slowly putting together. Right now I'm grieving for our country and realizing I was working entirely for the military industrial complex from my 6-year stint in the USMC. Show #1. "Merica, Oh Say Can You Seee?" Entails pieces made from the American flag. Show #2. A 13 photograph show titled "Inerrant" of my adventure drive-by shots. #3. 3 to 7 left 1/2 molded self body sculptures encompassing the Human Condition.
