My favorite type of art to create is photography that captures nature in its pure, natural state. Nature is constantly changing, and being able to freeze a moment in time allows me to preserve the beauty that exists right now. Through my photos, I hope to show my kids and hopefully future generations, just how precious our world is and why it’s so important that we take care of it.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the photographers who came before me, those who dedicated their work to capturing the beauty and truth of the natural world. Their work motivates me to continue documenting an ever evolving planet. I’m also deeply inspired by the animals I photograph. Being able to capture moments of how they live reminds me how important they are to our ecosystem and encourages me to share their story through my images.
What would you do with $25,000?If I received $25,000, I would use it to help cover the cost of the camera and underwater photography equipment that allows me to capture the beauty of the natural world, both above and below the surface. Having that support would also allow me to invest more into marketing and sharing my work, helping bring greater awareness to the importance of protecting our planet and the incredible wildlife that lives in it.
