I am especially drawn to art that holds memory, time, and human life. Repeated actions that build layers and slowly transform form fascinate me, because they mirror how a noble life is shaped over time. Textile art, sewing, drawing, and mixed media interest me because they preserve traces of the hand and personal history. I also value conceptual practices that turn ordinary materials into meaningful expressions of change and renewal through quiet making daily. It honors patience and memory anew.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the flow of time. My past, filled with joy, wounds, and lessons, has left traces that shape who I am today. In the present, I discover meaning through passing thoughts, quiet moments, and everyday encounters. At times, I sense God’s comfort and guidance within ordinary experiences. Through art, I seek to express how life changes and grows over time, and how memory, hardship, and hope are transformed into beauty through patience, reflection, faith, and renewal each day anew.
What would you do with $25,000?I don’t know yet. I think I would decide when I actually receive it. :)
