I like to document happy, positive moments. I'm proud of my culture and I want to share it with everyone.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love to make paintings. Especially paintings with some sculptural aspects to it.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from my culture, my family, household items seen in my parents and grandparents home. I'm inspired by those little moments when you see joy light up in someone's face. I'm also inspired by the motifs used in lowriders, the candy paint and custom interior designs. I'm inspired by the late artist Adan Hernandez.
What would you do with $25,000?First I would invest in a fancy crank type easel, then I would get a large tool box to store all my art equipment, buy really good paint brushes and good quality paint. Then I would use the rest for a nice camera to take photos of my work and other miscellaneous art tools.
