I create art to translate emotioI create to translate emon, memory, and identity into form—making invisible inner worlds visible and shared.

I’m most drawn to mixed-media portraits that blend abstraction with structure. I love merging fluid, expressive brushstrokes with the geometric precision of Kufic Arabic calligraphy and Phoenician forms. This balance between emotion and discipline allows me to capture psychological depth—creating pieces that feel both raw and intentional, where figures become vessels for inner worlds.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in memory, heritage, and the quiet emotional moments we often overlook. Growing up between cultures shaped how I see the world, and I’m constantly drawn to the tension between belonging and identity. I’m also inspired by calligraphy, ancient writing systems, and everyday scenes—how light falls, how people move, how emotion lingers. Often, I dream of a piece before it comes to life.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in both my practice and my community. I’d develop a new body of work exploring identity and emotion, while also creating projects that give back—like a graphic novel I designed and distributed to underprivileged children. Supporting access to creativity is deeply important to me, and I’d use this opportunity to expand that impact while continuing to grow as an artist.
