I create to turn inner feelings into something real and shareable, forming quiet, meaningful connections without words.

I find inspiration in everyday life—I believe beauty and emotion exist everywhere if you slow down enough to notice. Much of my work also comes from within; every piece carries my perspective, regardless of reference. I study artists like Rembrandt, whose use of light and shadow continues to shape how I think about depth and atmosphere. The idea begins internally, but execution is constantly evolving through observation and learning.
Where do you find inspiration?I’m most drawn to work that blends Impressionism and surrealism—grounded in reality but slightly altered by emotion or imagination. More than style, I value a sense of flow. The strongest pieces are the ones that feel intuitive, where each decision builds naturally on the last. When a painting “clicks” like that, it carries an energy that’s hard to force—and that’s the feeling I aim to create.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the funds to support my parents and invest in my growth as an artist. That includes taking advanced courses, attending workshops, or pursuing formal study to refine my technique and expand my range. I see art as a long-term path, and this would give me the time and resources to develop it with greater focus and intention.
