I love drawing with crayons. It's pastel. 🖍️ They seem alive. You feel them with all your fingers. Such a live contact… It's an amazing kind of art. All the colors in pastels don't look like real ones… That's what they're called: "pastel colors". And you always have an attempt to easily fix what's wrong. You can even just blow it off the paper. In life, it's not like that. I never thought at a young age when I was drawing professionally and academically… that at 60 I would love drawing so much!
Where do you find inspiration?I don't look for inspiration. It finds me. I like to pour myself into circumstances that are beyond my control... and with a prayer in my heart and out loud I watch events unfold. And everything that impresses me becomes an imprint in my soul and then comes out from the inside out onto paper... My inspiration leads me with His Spirit...
What would you do with $25,000?There is a war in my Ukraine now. Therefore our needs are very different from ordinary human desires. Our needs seem impossible and often look like a miracle. This is when there is nothing and then it appears. For example, a serious injury and there is no chance of life and then it appears and the person continues to live. There are no limbs after an explosion and then they appear. There are no weapons when armed aggressor attacks and for the 5th year people have been holding on their cities…
