My favorite type of art to create is any art that can resonate with the viewer on multiple levels. I create with a specific intention and emotion in mind, but the work can hold a completely different narrative for the viewer based on their own experiences. I find that is one of the most amazing aspects of creating art, even when you have a set goal or impact in mind, the work will speak for itself regardless.
Where do you find inspiration?I draw inspiration from nature, both the natural world and human nature. I find particular inspiration in the small, often overlooked moments that show our ever-evolving humanity. While I draw inspiration from almost anything, I wouldn’t be complete without mentioning my loved ones and their profound impact on my life. These small moments have become very dear to me. They feel like tiny moments of love, no matter how fleeting. They remind me of taking a photograph, forever capturing a feeling.
What would you do with $25,000?If I were chosen, that money would be life-changing. It would be able to help me finish my art education. I am a twin, so my parents are sending two children to college at the same time, and even with all of our money-saving hacks, in our current climate I will most likely still go into debt. So having that money would be, quite literally, life-changing. Thank you for your consideration! God Bless
