I love to create art because it helps me turn off the world & the voices inside my head and dive into something new.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I think I don‘t really have a favorite type of art, just anything crafty, anything to do with my hands and maybe a pencil, a paintbrush, a glue-stick, and some scissors. I just kinda do whatever feels right. As long as it makes me happy and I am having fun while doing it, there can’t be anything wrong with it! But I mostly enjoy capturing moments of my life in form of drawings or scrapbook entries.
Where do you find inspiration?A lot of inspiration I find online from other artists who are brave enough to share their amazing art. I also find inspiration in nature! I love sitting at the beach under a tree and just watch nature happening in front of me to then capture it in my sketches.
What would you do with $25,000?I really want to donate a big amount to a charity for sexual assault. Especially after having a firsthand experience with this, I want to be able to help others, who go through that. Some of the money would go into my tuition for college. I am currently majoring in Psychology and my dad is paying for most of it. I feel incredibly grateful, but I would be so happy to pay some of it myself. And lastly, a small portion would go into travel, because I dream of traveling the world!
