I’ve had brain cancer for half of my life. I’m 24 going through the same thing again, WHY NOT create art as I’m slowly fading out?!
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Lyrics! I have a passion to share my story through the songs I create, I’m creating a space for people to feel the emotional pull, connection, and comfort in the lyrics I share.
Where do you find inspiration?I find it within my cancer experiences as well as my drug and alcohol abuse that followed my first brain cancer chapter. I’ve gone through many, MANY chapters in my life and I’ve come to realize one thing: if no one else is doing it, why can’t I? Working with the national brain tumor society as a research advocate, I also am incredibly inspired by the people I work alongside with. Their stories are just as strikingly colorful as mine!
What would you do with $25,000?I would donate it to the national brain tumor society! As I mentioned previously, I’m teaming up with them to make a difference, brain cancer is the least funded and least researched cancers in the world, yet everyone knows someone with a brain tumor!!
