Art is my life because my dad taught me at a young age and as I’ve gotten older I realized that it’s actually a portal to self discovery
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create is acrylic paintings with bold abstract figures portraying themes relating to the human psyche, addiction, and fantastical mythologies. I also enjoy creating intuitive and loose oil pastel drawings of anything from abstract works, to still-life and portraiture.
Where do you find inspiration?I find most of my inspiration from real life scenarios that I live through or live through other people. I believe the human experience is to connect through the universal feelings, insecurities and emotions we all experience here through life and death and that which happens in between.
What would you do with $25,000?I would pay off debts, spend the earnings on more art supplies and try to pay it forward.
