My favorite art to make is the paper machè collages. It is an activity where I accumulate old books and magazines rip pages out with my vision of the theme and energy surrounding the artwork. As of now the energy is filled with old natural geographics, pictures of animals, maps, landscapes, and newspapers from Los Angeles. I use flour and water and spread them on the canvas.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration inside the way I can communicate for people who can’t communicate this way. I am able to be a voice for what we want and need. I can see and can curate the way of showing that as a whole the people need to remember to love themselves and be proud of how far we have come.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 I hope to obtain a warehouse for my art and workshop for meeting with my mental health clients. It would become the Life Skill Build Workspace and Artist Collective Gallery LA.
