IM Strange where art meets cinema. I craft deep, visual stories that pull you in, frame by frame. I hope my art can overall inspire!
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite kind of art is the kind that moves the soul. The kind that makes you laugh, makes you cry, makes you think. The kind that never loses its spark no matter how many times you see it. Like your favorite movie, it stays with you… it grows with you. There’s just something about ink hitting the pen something raw, something alive that wakes something up in me every single time.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from living life. From the weight of my own experiences… and the thoughts that sit heavy when I am alone. The conversations I have with myself. The ones no one else hears. Those are the ones I pour onto paper. And also through the stories of others and their struggles, their growth, I find pieces of myself too. That’s where it all begins for me.
What would you do with $25,000?If I won the $25,000, the first thing I’d do is take care of my family! My beautiful wife, my beloved son… and my momma! To meet their needs because that comes before anything. Second, I’d invest in better equipment and tools that will help me capture and push my art further. I wanna see how far my art can go. so I can reach more people and speak deeper stories. And lastly, I’d stock up on art supplies without worry.
