Art lets me show how I see the world. Finding beauty, emotion, and meaning in things others might overlook. Allowing me to express myself.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Some of my main go-to art forms are photography and sculpture. I’ve loved sculpture ever since I took my first class in college. Photography is something that naturally came to me because I’m passionate about capturing moments and things that stand out to me.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday life, culture, and small details that can be overlooked. I’m inspired by moments that stand out to me, whether it’s through photography, nature, music, or personal experiences. My culture and the different perspectives people carry also inspire the way I create and express myself through art.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would travel to Mexico City to explore its art galleries, museums, and creative spaces. I’ve always wanted to reconnect with my roots and experience how artists in Mexico express culture, identity, and emotion through their work. After that, I would invest in building a small art studio focused on ceramics and photography where I could create freely, develop my skills, and share meaningful stories and perspectives through my art.
