Creating art quenches my thirst for trying to explain what I see and which words just won’t do. Making an idea come to life calms my mind.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I like to create art that is vibrant, says something with meaning and doesn’t stick to the rules. I enjoy taking apart an image and make it abstract just as much as I love for nature to tell a story. Creating my own genre to explain my style took 18 years to figure out. So my non conventional art style is called Symbolistic & Surrealistic Expressionism (SSE). In a nutshell, I mix all 3 styles to create a story told without giving upfront meaning and letting the viewer find out its story.
Where do you find inspiration?Every day life, experiences and observations inspire what my mind’s eye sees. You truly never know what will be your next inspiration for your next painting until it hits you in a dream or daydream. You become restless for that inspired idea and you get to sleep and relax until it has finally come to life.
What would you do with $25,000?Most likely I would pay the debts I know I have, repair my car and maybe replace a century’s old aging clothes and shoes.
